The new Crankbrothers Trail Speed Lace Vent shoes are designed with maximum air flow in mind and are available in both flat and clipless versions. Check them out here…

The new Trail Speed Lace Vent Shoes from Crankbrothers could be the perfect shoe for those long, hot summer days. There are two variations: the Mallet Trail Speed Lace Vent for clipless riders, and the Stamp Trail Speed Lace Vent for flats. Both models feature a highly breathable mesh upper, a low-rebound EVA midsole, and a grippy sole that functions well both on and off the bike.

The Mallet uses a “mid-friction MC1” rubber compound for smooth entry/exit and long wear, while the Stamp uses a “high-friction MC2” rubber for grip, durability, and reduced rebound. Both models use a Speed Lace closure, have an integrated lace pocket, and feature a non-absorbent EVA foam tongue that dries out quickly after creek crossings or during wet rides. The toe box is reinforced with TPU for impact resistance, and Crankbrothers describes the fit as “relaxed” for all-day comfort.

The Trail Speed Lace Vent Shoes are available in a new Bone-Grey colorway that Crankbrothers says hides dust and absorbs less heat. They are available in US men’s sizes 5-15 and women’s sizing 6.5-16.5 (Euro 37-49). The Mallet costs $189.99 USD, and the Stamp costs $169.99 USD.
