Have you ever sat down after a long ride and thought to yourself, “I wish I had a Fidlock-equipped leather slide to slip my poor feet into?” We haven’t either. Nonetheless, the ZEEBRAHAM B-Slides are here…
This isn’t the first time we’ve shared wacky footwear. We’ve seen BOA Birkenstocks, SPD Crocs, and even clipless Salomon shoes, but the new ZEEBRAHAM B-Slides might just take the cake. The B-Slide is the first product born from the partnership between ZEEBRAHAM and Team Standert Brandenburg. The idea was to create a performance recovery slide that meets the demands of a high-performance race team.
Here’s how ZEEBRAHAM describes them: “The B-Slide is our answer to the most overlooked transition in road cycling. A sandal built from vegetable-tanned leather, cork midsole, and Vibram rubber outsole, closed with a Fidlock magnetic dial system — the same technology that keeps pro road shoes dialed in at 300 watts, now applied to the serious business of recovery.”
The slides feature a chrome-free cow leather upper, a vegetable-tanned leather liner, a cork midsole, a Vibram outsole, and a Fidlock closure. They are made to order in Portugal, with a pre-order window open until July 15th. They’ll be produced 3–4 weeks after the pre-order window closes, and then delivered in mid-August. The ZEEBRAHAM B-Slides are available in sizes 37 to 48 and come in a white-and-purple colorway. The best part? They only cost €239 ($277 USD), so everyone can recover like the pros.
