UK-based August Bicycles has teamed up with a handful of other businesses to raise money for The British Red Cross Society in support of Ukraine. Learn more about their fundraiser here…

In response to the the tragic events unfolding in Ukraine this week, August Bicycles (@augustbicycles) launched a fundraiser that started off with a raffle for a custom stem, with all money raised going towards The British Red Cross Society. It didn’t take long for a number of other businesses to step up, all contributing various products to the cause. The last time we checked there were over 15 businesses committed to supporting the fundraiser, including Fairlight Cycles, Drust Cycles, Paul Component, and Dyed in the Wool, just to name a few. BIKEPACKING.com is also donating a copy of the latest Bikepacking Journal, a cap, bandana, and some stickers.

August Bicycles has set up a Just Giving fundraiser in hopes of raising money to assist the people of Ukraine. For every donation £5 or more, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a massive prize pack. One ‘winner’ will be selected on March 7th. August Bicycles sums it up nicely, “To money donators…you guys are the MVP’s. Ok, you might be in with a chance of winning a spectacularly incredible hamper of goodies, but aside from that, you are directly opposing war. You’re trying to keep families together. There are not enough words to describe the impact that has.”
