Inspired by the Dune universe, we recently spotted a custom Bombtrack Beyond+ that’s built for interplanetary adventures. Part beach cruiser, part rock climber, find a full build kit and more photos of Lukas’s lovely one-of-a-kind bike here…
I’m generally not one for theme builds, but there’s no denying the nearly flawless execution of this Dune-inspired sand rover from Lukas at Traffic Distribution Germany. Built around the venerable Bombtrack Beyond+ platform, it’s specced to be as reliable and long-lasting as possible while mixing in a little polished silver flair for good measure.
With a rigid steel fork, mechanical brakes and shifting, externally routed cables, and a rigid seatpost, it looks like a dependable Arrakis cruiser that’s sure to turn heads along the way.
