Just announced, the new Easton EA70 AX Gravel Dropper Post is the latest addition to their AX-series of drop bar gravel and adventure components, providing 50mm of drop for when the trail gets rowdy. Find photos, specs, and Easton’s product launch video here…

As cyclists demand more from their drop bar gravel bikes, the tendency is to outfit them with bigger tires, wider bars, and a dropper post to increase comfort and overall versatility. With a massive influx of big tire monstercross bikes over the last few years, it’s no surprise to see new components being developed specifically with these types of bikes in mind. Announced this morning, the new Easton EA70 AX Gravel Dropper Post is a prime example.

It uses a a reliable cartridge design, internal routing, and is available in two different lengths: 350mm and 400mm. The post provides 50mm of drop, which should make it compatible with most bikes, as long as the frame requires a 27.2mm diameter post.
