Aside from a complete lineup of titanium bicycles, Melbourne, Australia-based Curve Cycling has a full-service bike shop, an up-to-date blog with great trip reports, and they’ve started offering guided bikepacking trips under the Curventure Expeditions name. This February, the Curve team and 12 guests will be heading to Argentina for eight days of challenging riding over mixed-terrain roads.

Curve Argentina

The El Gaucho Argentina Expedition is meant to be physically challenging and is suited for those in good shape. Riders must be able to ride 100 kilometers with 2,000 meters of climbing in a single day. The cost includes most meals, cyclist-friendly accommodations, experienced guides, mechanical support, and a transport vehicle to carry some personal belongings. Flights, insurance, visa costs, and some other expenses are not included.

The full cost of the expedition is $4,000 AUD ($2,680), and a 50% deposit is required to register. Interested riders can join the ride on an application basis, meaning Curve requires a questionnaire to ensure their skills and experience are sufficient to see them through the expedition. Curve is offering 10% off the trip price for Bikepacking Collective members, which is valid until February 1st, 2023. Learn more at CurveCycling.com.
