If the original Farr aero extension wasn’t quite long enough for you, you’ll be pleased to hear that the brand just released a longer Carbon Aero Bolt-On for more hand positions and versatility. Check it out here…
It’s hard to believe that Farr’s first Alloy Aero Bolt-On extension was released almost two years ago—stirring up lots of online discussions in the process. Since then, they’ve added a carbon version, GPS mounts, forearm pads, and more, but according to Farr, there have been a lot of requests for a larger Aero Bolt-On to provide some more hand space. Farr listened, and they just released the Carbon Aero Bolt-On Large, adding around 5cm of length and some width to the original design.
The Farr Carbon Aero Bolt-On Large appears to be more of a hybrid between the alloy and carbon versions. It has a curved, tubular front end like the alloy model but has a carbon construction with alloy bar clamps. It has a 22.2mm round profile that pairs nicely with most GPS and light mounts, fits 31.8mm handlebars, and is compatible with their new top mount Arm Rest Kit. It weighs just 138 grams and is available for preorder now with delivery expected for mid June. It costs $150 USD and can be ordered from RideFarr.com today.
