At a meager $10 upcharge from the laced version, the new Five Ten Freerider Pro BOA Flat Pedal Shoes are a welcome addition for those in search of clipless ease on flat pedal shoes. Retailing at $170 USD, Five Ten has added the endlessly adjustable BOA system to its much-beloved Freerider silhouette without significantly increasing the price.

The Five Ten Freerider Pro BOA Flat Pedal Shoes feature the same Stealth S1 rubber outsole as the original lace-up and benefit from the use of recycled material in their construction. With a layer of EVA foam in the mid-sole, quick-drying synthetic upper, and reinforced toe cap, the Five Ten Freerider Pro BOA Flat Pedal Shoe seems to have a lot of the same great features Logan enjoyed back in 2021, albeit slightly improved.

The Five Ten Freerider Pro BOA Flat Pedal Shoes are available in both men’s and women’s sizes in two distinct colors split across the gendered sizing systems. Just like the original free rider, sizing starts at 5 for men and 6 for women with half sizes all the way up to 13 and 11, respectively.
