Tailor-made to suit the Allygn Diamond Back Rack, the new Gramm Diamond Back Pack is a rack-mounted saddle bag that offers a sway-free, waterproof 12 liters of rear capacity. Learn more about the small Berlin brand’s latest release here…
Teased over the past few months, Berlin-based Gramm Tourpacking has officially released the Gramm Diamond Back Pack, crafted to match the Allygn Diamond Back Rack we shared in March. It takes the classic seatpack silhouette and mates it to Allygn’s rack, rather than a seatpost, offering 12 liters of storage that won’t rub or sway. It keeps your precious cargo dry thanks to an included dry bag that’s easy to remove for unpacking off the bike.
Built for the long haul, the Diamond Back Pack also boasts side pockets and shock cords for lashing on extra items. Plus, the optional Anybolts on the rack struts open up opportunities to attach cargo cages, further expanding your capacity. Available in an impressive array of technical fabrics and colors, the Diamond Back Pack has a maximum footprint of 450 x 220 x 200 mm (17.7 x 8.6 x 7.8 inches) and weighs around 630 grams (22 ounces), including the dry bag. It mounts to the rack via Velcro and FIDLOCK straps.
Gramm is now accepting orders for custom Diamond Back Packs, available as standalone bags for €269 ($315) or bundled with an Allygn Back Rack for €419 ($490), including German VAT. Turnaround time for custom bags is around four weeks.
