A reimagined version of the classic rando bag, Gramm’s 7.5-liter Diamond Bag offers the ideal capacity for all-day riding, commuting, and light bikepacking, all wrapped in an innovative and easy-to-access package. Its folding lid opens toward the rider for getting at contents on the go, its dual magnetic closure is super solid, and its aerodynamic shape looks damn cool. Mated to an Allygn Diamond rack, it’s a thoroughly modern front-hauling system. I’ve been using one for several years now, and it took a top spot in my 2023 Editor’s Dozen. Before today, Gramm’s Diamond Bag was only available in black outside of the occasional custom-color order window, but the small team in Germany’s capital is now offering an array of 40+ colorful fabrics at any time. In addition to a not insignificant €90 upcharge over the black version, there’s also a three-to-four-week wait period for colorful bags, which are made to order. Still, I can attest that it’s an exceptionally well-made and worthwhile investment. In-stock black bags cost €249, and their colorful counterparts cost €339. Buyers can choose from VX21, VX25, RVX20, RX30, EPX200, RX50, RX51, and Cordura fabrics.
