Berlin’s Gramm Tourpacking just updated their innovative Diamond Bag with the addition of rider-friendly side pockets that add utility and capacity to an already great top-opening bag. Find details here…
Reviewed here on the site in 2022 and later awarded a spot in my 2023 Editor’s Dozen, both linked below, the Gramm Diamond Bag is a classically inspired but thoroughly modern top-opening handlebar bag that offers an impressively stable, easy-access way to haul gear for all-day rides and lightly loaded bikepacking getaways.
Available in a standard 7.5-liter size and a higher-capacity 11-liter Tall version, the Diamond Bag was designed to fit perfectly on the Allygn Diamond Rack, but it can be used with a wide variety of racks from other makers. I’m running one on a Rene Herse UD-1 front rack on my Brother Mr Wooden, and it’s rock-solid.
Announced yesterday, the Diamond Bag just took a huge leap forward with the addition of rider-friendly UltraStretch side pockets that extend its capacity and on-the-go access. Available exclusively on the Black RX36 version for the time being, the two pockets span roughly the full side panels of the bag. They’re now a standard feature available at no extra cost on both the Diamond Bag and Diamond Bag Tall.
