The new Granite Design Talon is part tire lever, part quick-link tool, featuring a two nylon levers in a detachable design. Find details and photos here…
Undoubtedly inspired by Wolf Tooth’s Pack Pliers, the new Granite Design Talon combines a pair of tire levers with a quick-link tool to provide several different functions for trailside bike repairs. The two pieces clip together via a steel pin to remove 9, 10, 11, and 12-speed quick-links without getting your hands greasy. Plus, they can be used as tire levers when apart. And similar to the Pack Pliers, there’s two recessed slots that hold a pair of quick-links. The tool is made of from fiber-reinforced nylon with stainless-steel tips, which Granite claims can handle almost all tires but won’t scratch carbon rims.
