The Hungry Smorgasbord 2.0 was updated with some new design elements to help it keep its steructure, plus it’s now available in three sizes and widths, each with bigger pockets. Check it out here…

The Hungry Smorgasbord is a long-flap-style handlebar bag or saddle bag by maker Harry Dunbar in New South Wales, Australia. Harry has been working on an update to the original version for a while, and we’re excited to see it finally come to fruition. The Smorgasbord 2.0 has bigger side pockets (8cm each from front to back), or it can be ordered with stretchy pockets or no pockets at all.

The Smorgasbord 2.0 now available in three size/width options to help customers get the perfect fit. Size small has an 11″ (28cm) wide main body, the medium has a 13″ (33cm) body, and the large has a 15″ (38cm) body. All sizes are the same height and depth. The main body measures 9″ (22cm) tall, and 7″ (18cm) deep. The roll top section is 12″ (30cm) tall. At the minimum, they measure up to about 11, 13, and 15 liters of volume (S,M,L), and fully unrolled they offer about 26, 31, and 36 liters. The big side pockets add an additional 5L of storage, total.

The Smorgasbord 2.0 has also been updated with a floating liner, which makes the bag the most water-resistant it can get without fancy seam tape or welded fabrics. It’s not technically waterproof, so anything that needs to stay 100% dry should be stored in a separate dry bag. To give the bag more structure, a second fiberglass rod has been added to the backside of the bag, ensuring it won’t buckle around your bike or rack. D-rings have also been added to accept an optional shoulder strap, for those who want it. The Smorgasbord has an HDPE liner inside the main body to keep it stiff, there’s the option of metal or plastic buckles, and it boasts a generous 13 to 25-liter capacity.
