Ira Ryan has been fabricating bicycles since 2005 after building his first frame in the Vanilla Bicycles/Speedvagen shop. More recently, he was the co-founder of Breadwinner Cycles for the last 10 years, but has decided to return to his roots and pursue his passion of building fully custom bicycles for a select number of customers each year. Ira pulls on years of framebuilding experience and extensive ultra endurance and gravel racing experience.
“The ability to understand a rider’s desires and background help me shape the final product,” states Ira. “Every detail of the frame should complement the customer’s unique riding style and position on the bike. Building in the appropriate amount of utility while maintaining an elegant and sleek design is what I am known for, and I look forward to reconnecting with my passion for creating dream bikes.”
Ira is accepting orders now on all disciplines of bicycle but will focus on building all steel road, gravel, adventure, randonee, and city bikes with timeless styling and functional details. Each bike will be fully custom from beginning to end taking into account each detail and component. You can find the new website at IraRyanBicycles.com.
