Just announced, the all-new Jeronimo Cycles MIZE Ti blends klunker vibes with a modern titanium frame and fork to make what looks like an interesting dirt-road touring bike. Find all the details and specs here…

From the mind of Pedro Jeronimo, the new Jeronimo Cycles MIZE Ti is a departure from the brand’s typical range of trail-oriented hardtails and gravel bikes. Jeronimo positions the new titanium klunker as a mountain bike built for tackling trails and tracks around the world with confidence. Read on for details.

Named after a man who travelled around the villages of Miranda, Portugal, with his inseparable pack mule, MIZE features clearance for 29+ tires and is paired with 50mm rise titanium handlebars for an upright “touring” position. Long 445mm chainstays and a 51mm fork offset give it a lengthy wheelbase for stability, while a relatively off-road-focused geometry suggest a confident manner.

Featuring a distinctive top tube bend that harkens back to the old 1950s tracker bikes—much like the Stooge Dirt Tracker I reviewed—the MIZE frame is constructed from premium Ti3Al2.5V double-butted titanium tubing and finished in a sleek matte gray with anodized decals. It’s built specifically to pair with the brand’s 470mm titanium fork (with a 51mm rake) but is also compatible with suspension forks in the 80–100mm travel range. MIZE can run anything from 29 x 2.2″ to 29 x 3.0″ tires, although it seems like a prime candidate for a 29+ setup to me. The 15 x 110mm Mize Ti fork has a full titanium construction, clearance for 29 x 3.0″ tires, three-pack cage mounts on each leg, internal routing for dynamo hub lighting, light and fender mounts, and a 470mm axle-to-crown measurement.
