Graphic designer and cyclist Justin McKinley, otherwise known as JJJJustin, recently took some friends on a creative iteration of the Red Feather Ramble and made a vlog of their travels. Taking a leisurely 4-day pace, JJJJustin and friends extended the route’s initial 160-mile length to 250, adding quite a bit of elevation gain as well.
The vlog also features a recurring bit on the JJJJustin YouTube channel, “Jaron cam,” that follows friend Jaron Wilson through a self-powered detour onto some optional singletrack, as well as some great film photos from another rider on the trip, Pablo Selman. All in all, it’s a great little home video that reminds us that any route can be customized to the needs and wants of those able and willing to go with the flow.
