Josh Ibbett finished the 2025 Atlas Mountain Race in 15th place, and he recently published a detailed kit overview for folks curious to see what he brought along for the ride. Find it paired with the video he put together from race footage here…

Nearly 300 riders from around the world participated in the fifth annual Atlas Mountain Race earlier this month. With help from the event team, we published one of our largest rig roundups to date and plenty of race updates and winners’ posts, which you can check out on our 2025 Atlas Mountain Race Tracker page.

At the front of the pack, Alex McCormack from the UK took first place with a time of just 3 days and 20 hours. It was a stacked race with many strong riders, and a good chunk of them finished within five days. Josh Ibbett is no stranger to the Atlas Mountain Race, and this year’s event marked his third time participating. He finished in 6th place in 2022, 8th in 2024, and took 14th place this year with a time of 4 days, 20 hours, and 42 minutes. Josh just put together a video breaking down the gear and kit he used, and he also created a video from footage he shot during the race. Watch both below.
