Experienced vlogger and bikepacker Josh Reid has decided to take on the Tour Divide this year and recently published a full breakdown of his setup and pack list on his YouTube channel. Featuring a full bag and rack setup from Restrap, a SRAM AXS drivetrain, and a Fidlock bottle system, it seems Josh’s time cycling at different events around the world has given him more than enough experience to know how to pack for the iconic North American race.
Though Josh dives into what’s inside each and every bag as well as the bags themselves, there are elements of his setup he’s a little quieter about. Eagle-eyed viewers you may look at his rear support system and connect some dots between what’s there and what you may have seen in my visit to Restrap. Either way, it’s a great, incisive look at what a more gravel-oriented Tour Divide pack list looks like for those who dream of hitting the route some day.
