It’s official. Lachlan Morton finished the ~700km Badlands 2020 race in just 43 hours and 30 minutes. After a strong start, Lachlan steadily charged through the remainder of the Badlands course overnight and crossed the finish line after an incredible effort, stopping only 19 minutes during the race. The 85% off-pavement Badlands route loops through the mountains in southern Spain with over 15,000 meters in climbing as it crosses some of the most remote and challenging places in Europe: Hoya de Guadix, Gorafe Desert, Tabernas Desert, Cabo de Gata Natural Park and Veleta Pass at 3,212m.
