The Bikepacking Journal 15
We’re putting the finishing touches on another jam-packed issue of The Bikepacking Journal this month, which will be printed and shipped to our Sustainer and Builder-level Bikepacking Collective members globally this winter. Filling its 160 vibrant pages are captivating stories and brilliant photography from bikepacking journeys across Kyrgyzstan, Colorado, Algeria, Iceland, South America, and well beyond.
As always with our twice-yearly issues featuring the year’s most engaging essays and immersive narratives, you never know what to expect when flipping the page to the next piece. The complete collection of stories is available exclusively in print, and after Friday’s deadline, it won’t be possible to get a copy of our 15th issue again. We take great pride in this project, and the Journal is produced at a world-class printer in Germany using premium papers and inks. It’s something we’re sure you’ll want to display proudly on your coffee table or bookshelf for years to come.
Fresh Prize Packages
Our latest batch of Collective Reward giveaways features an eye-watering $9,000 worth of exceptional prizes that we’ll randomly distribute to Bikepacking Collective members throughout the world. We’ve given away more than 225 prize packages to our supporters since we launched our membership program in 2018, which is now the oldest of its kind. Some highlights in this round of goodies include a complete Hudski Dualist, Paul Klampers and levers, a Mica Rat Tail rack, a Stooge Dirt Tracker frameset, Mountain Laurel Designs Panniers, and much more.
Exclusive Member Discounts
If all that’s not enticing enough, we also offer the most expansive discount program in all of cycling, and our members can save real money on a wide variety of products and services from more than 70(!) of the top brands throughout the bikepacking world. Everyone in the Bikepacking Collective has access to exclusive savings (around 20 percent on average) from an ever-growing list of companies that current includes Big Agnes, Industry Nine, WTB, Revelate Designs, and Teravail, to name just a few.
Access to Basecamp
Folks in the Bikepacking Collective can use Basecamp, our web app designed to connect our members with us and the greater bikepacking community alike. Basecamp features three modules: Bike Camp Co-op, enabling members to buy, sell, and trade gear with likeminded folks around the world; Ride Rendezvous, through which members can organize outings and find riding buddies; and Ask the Experts, allowing members to pose burning questions to our team and the broader group.
