Just released, the new Lems Trail Thrasher Pro shoes feature a grippy Vibram sole, waterproof construction, and a wide toe box that’s often hard to find in a cycling shoe. Take a closer look here…
If you’ve ever struggled with the narrow toe box that’s so common in cycling shoes, Lems might be for you. They make shoes for everyday and outdoor use, focusing on a fit that works with a natural foot shape, a zero-drop design, and a wide toe box. This fall, they released their first mountain-bike-inspired flat shoe, the Trail Thrasher, and today, they’re back with the Trail Thrasher Pro, which is essentially the same shoe with a waterproof membrane and a Vibram sole. Despite not loving the idea of “thrashing” the trails we ride and love, we’re currently testing a pair and will share a review soon.
The Lems Trail Thrasher Pro is the Colorado brand’s first waterproof shoe. It’s designed for hiking and mountain biking, with a grippy Vibram Megagrip outsole that looks like it would make a fantastic on- and off-bike flat shoe. The upper is made from Nubuck, it has an EVA midsole, and like their other shoes, it uses a zero-drop angle between your heel and your toes.
The Trail Thrasher Pro is available in men’s and women’s sizes, with a massive range of options: 4.5-15 (men’s) and 6-12 (women’s). They are only available in a dark colorway called Volcanic, and they cost $175 USD.
