The new Lord Cycles Adventure Collection from Wales-based framebuilder Chris Lord features three new semi-custom models inspired by the dramatic Welsh landscapes and built to take on a bit of everything. Find details and photos of the Lord Nomad, Antur, and Elan here….

Officially launching this weekend, the new Adventure Collection from UK-based framebuilder Chris Lord of Lord Cycles (@lordcycles) features three made-to-measure, fully customizable models built to take on loaded bikepacking, gravel grinding, and road riding. Although they’re all designed with different pursuits in mind, Lord says the trio of models were all equally inspired by the Welsh landscapes and share a guiding philosophy of “exploration, multi-day adventures, and pushing personal limits.”

The new collection consists of the Nomad, Antur, and Elan, all of which are built to order using buyers’ unique body measurements and requirements. Explaining his decision to introduce these semi-bespoke models, Lord wrote, “I found the fully bespoke framebuilding order process to be slow and quite often daunting as the choices and possibilities are endless. The collection has arisen to remove the frustrations and overwhelming aspects of the process but still celebrates and keeps the handmade artisanal craft alive. The 3 base models act as a blank canvas for customers to create their dream bike on.” Find a brief overview of all three bikes below.

As featured in our coverage of this year’s Bespoked UK show (find that in the related content grid below), the Nomad is Lord’s rigid 29er bikepacking/adventure rig. Developed with the Welsh hills in mind, it was made for loaded escapes on off-road tracks and trails, no matter the weather. The Nomad is built from a blend of Columbus Zona and Life tubing and comes with a Columbus Futura Adventure carbon fork with cargo mounts. It’ll clear 29 x 2.3″ tires in back and 29 x 3.0″ up front and features a 1x specific drivetrain, T47 or 73mm BSA bottom bracket, and stainless steel dropouts. Frameset prices start at £2,350 ($3,110), which includes a bike fitting, custom geometry, and a single paint color.

Lord Cycles Antur

The Lord Antur is an all-road bike designed for riding beyond where the pavement ends, whether you’re loaded up for an overnight bikepacking trip or heading out for a fast and light day ride. Like the Nomad, it’s constructed from a mix of Columbus Zona and Life tubing but features a Columbus Futura Cross fork without mounts. It has room for 700 x 45mm or 27.5 x 2.1″ tires and sports 1x or 2x drivetrain compatibility, your choice of T47 or a 68mm BSA bottom bracket, flat mount brakes, and stainless dropouts. The Antur frameset is priced from £2,350 ($3,110) including a bike fitting, custom geometry, and a single paint color.

Lord Cycles Elan

Described as “comfortable, fast, and damn right delicious,” Lord’s Elan is an endurance road bike that looks to be well suited for ultra-distance events that don’t veer too far off the tarmac. It’s built from Columbus Spirit and Life tubing and comes with an ENVE Road Disc fork. Tire clearance is limited to 700 x 32mm and it’s compatible with 1x or 2x drive trains, is specced with your choice of a T47 or 68mm BSA bottom bracket, stainless dropouts, and has flat mount brakes that’ll clear 160mm rotors. Pricing for the Elan frameset starts a little higher at £2,500 ($3,310) with a bike fitting, custom geometry, and a single paint color.
