Adding to their growing stock of budget-friendly components, Soma Fabrications just received a shipment of mechanical brake/shift levers and rear derailleurs from S-ride in 8-, 9-, and 10-speed varieties for 1x and 2x drivetrains. They’re Shimano-compatible, reasonably good-looking, and fairly priced relative to competitive offerings.

The latest batch of S-Ride bits includes drop-bar brake/shift levers for 8-speed ($99/set), 9-speed ($109), and 10-speed ($129) drivetrains in 1x or 2x; 10-speed gravel rear derailleurs with clearance for 50T cassettes ($79); 8/9-speed road rear derailleurs with room for 34T cassettes ($49); and 10-speed road rear derailleurs that can clear 34T cassettes ($49).
