Watch the Mega Mid South 2024 Grand Depart Film

Relive the inaugural edition of the Mid South’s biggest ride through the Mega Mid South 2024 Grand Depart film. Made by producer and creative director Josh McCullock of the Mid South team, the film provides an in-depth look at the events that unfolded over 300 miles and a few days during the first-ever running of Mega. From the pointy end of the race tracking the route’s inaugural FKT holder, to those who came in a few days after leaving District Bikes in Stillwater, Josh and his two-person crew the entire field of riders that completed the first Mega Mid South and talk about what its like to have survived the onslaught of heavy winds, heat, and pure exhaustion while doing so. Having been out there myself, I can attest to the work Josh and the team put into both this film and the event as a whole.

The Mid South team also wanted to ensure that people were aware that the first anniversary of Mega marks a few exciting events. Mega is back for year two, and the grand departure will take off on Saturday, November 1st. The Mid South team will also host their registration party for the Mid South 100 in the spring.
