Named after an iconic IMBA Epic in the Ouachita Mountains, the MOOTS Womble is a new titanium hardtail designed for singletrack and adventure with clearance for 29 x 2.6″ tires and an oversized, double-butted titanium tube set. Find the details and photos here…

MOOTS is known for its classy, made-in-Colorado all-road frames and XC-oriented hardtails with clean lines, perfect welds, and beautiful tubing. The most rowdy bike in their lineup before today was the Farwell, equipped with a 120mm fork and a 68.5° head angle. Designed around a 67.2° head tube angle and a 140mm fork, the new MOOTS Womble pushes their range in a more progressive direction. Here are pics and details.

Named after the 36-mile IMBA Epic in Arkansas, the MOOTS Womble is made for singletrack and long rides. If it’s any gauge to what this bike is made for, the Womble (trail) features 36 miles of fast, swooping singletrack that bob in and out of drainages; and, it’s also part of our Ouachita Triple Crown bikepacking route, a heartland gem in the Ouachita Mountains that links up three IMBA Epic trail systems.

Like other hardtails in MOOTS’ lineup, the Womble is built around a 73mm threaded bottom bracket and has MOOTS’ clean external cable routing guides. The Womble clears 29 x 2.6″ wide trail tires and is has a 1x specific design with a max 32T chainring. The small-XL frames are designed to use 35-50mm stems. Here are other frame specs from MOOTS:
