Morvélo’s F-Cancer socks are back in stock for £10, and all profits are split between three cancer-related charities in memory of cycling industry veteran Jenn Hill. Learn more here…

Before she relocated to Yorkshire, Singletrack’s deputy editor Jenn Hill lived in Brighton, home of Morvélo. Needless to say, they rode and raced a lot together back in those days, even after her migration North, until she cruelly died of cancer in 2015 aged only 37.
As well as a seasoned mechanic and experienced cycling journalist, she was a hardened singlespeeder, 24-hour soloist, and Great Divide racer. She was so fast that she was on course to smash the women’s Great Divide singlespeed record, and the men’s, too, until a bout with giardia took her out for a couple of miserable days. But it’s a mark of her character that she carried on and finished in a still extraordinary time.

In 2016, thanks to the inspiration of Mint Sauce creator and Road.cc journalist Jo Burt, we produced these European-made, GOTS certified, high-performance socks, with all profits going to Cancer Research UK, Macmillan, and St Gemma’s Hospice. So far, a wonderful £35,000 has been raised.
It’s been quite a while since we’ve had any in stock due to all the supply chain woes that have blighted the whole industry, but we finally have a new batch of 1,000 pairs in stock.

Priced at £10, we think they’ll sell out fast, which in the fundraising spirit of things is great news. More stock will follow but for now, dive in there, grab and pair and tell the world where cancer can shove it!
