The all-new Nemo Dragonfly Bikepack Tent has plenty of bikepacking-specific features, including compact poles, straps and a bag for handlebar mounting, a gear storage tub, and a subdued stealth appearance. Find sneak peek photos and details here…
We just got a sneak peek at Nemo’s 2021 product line which includes some brand new camping gear, lots of updated products, and what we’re most interested in: the new Nemo Dragonfly Bikepack Tent. Pulling some inspiration from Big Agnes’ Bikepack tent line, the new Nemo Dragonfly Bikepack Tents (1p and 2p) come in extra-durable stuff sacks with adjustable straps for handlebar attachment. The tents are constructed from 15D Ripstop Nylon with No-See-Um Mesh, a 15D SilNylon fly, and Aluminum DAC Featherlite poles with extra compact segments for easier packing. Nemo also included what they call their Landing Zone gear storage tub inside the vestibule to keep any belongings off the ground which looks like an original touch. Also, Nemo eliminated all the reflective exterior details and made the tent in subdued colors for a more discrete appearance.
The Nemo Dragonfly Bikepack Tent comes in both one person and two person models, with minimum weights of 2lb 4oz (1kg) and 2lb 14oz (1.3kg), respectively. The one person model has a single door, one vestibule, packs down to 14.5 x 6″ (37 x 15 cm), and will retail for $389.95 USD. The two person Dragonfly Bikepack Tent has two doors, two vestibules, packs down to 14.5 x 6.5″ (37 x 16 cm), and will retail for $449.95 USD. Nemo expects to officially launch the Bikepack Tents and their full 2021 line at the beginning of the new year, so we’ll make to provide updates as information becomes available.
That’s all the information we have for now, but we’re hoping to get our hands on the Dragonfly Bikepack Tent to review soon.
