California’s Neuhaus Metalworks just opened pre-orders for their next batch of Hummingbird Core hardtails, which includes a limited batch of 25 frames in Granite. Metallic Blue and Desert Cream are back as well. Find details here…
With the last batch of Hummingbird Core frames starting to sell out within a month of their release, Neuhaus Metalworks is giving buyers a little extra notice for their latest shipment of frames, which are expected to start making their way to customers around the first week of September. Debuted in February (catch up by reading our original Dispatch), the Taiwan-made 120mm travel steel Hummingbird Core clears 29 x 2.6″ tires and features balanced geometry for cruising trails and bikepacking.

In addition to the returning Metallic Blue and Desert Cream colors, Neuhaus is offering a limited run of 25 Granite Edition frames for an extra $100, available to buyers who act quickly. The 25 units are spread across the brand’s five sizes, built to suit riders from 5’4″ up to 6’3″ tall. They’re also offering a package deal with a frame and Fox 34SL Performance Elite Fork starting at $1,849. The frame-only option costs $1,199 in standard colors and $1,299 for the Granite Edition. Complete builds are available, too. Note that the funky color-matched Industry Nine bits pictured here aren’t planned for production, but Nick and Daniel at Neuhaus say “anything is possible,” so get in touch if you’re interested in working something out.
