Texas-based bike brand Kyoot (pronounced “cute”) designs mini-velos that are efficient, fun, and not over-engineered. The idea behind mini-velos, or tiny bikes, is that they are compact, nimble, and surprisingly versatile, making them perfect for urban use or when traveling by bus or train. Kyoot previously had a single bike model in their lineup, the Itty Bitty, which is based around quick-release axles, a double-butted Chromoly frame, and a sliding rear dropout. The new Kyoot Rolly Polly takes everything they liked about the Itty Bitty and dials it up a notch.

The Kyoot Rolly Polly is a new mini-velo featuring a Taiwan-made 4130 triple-butted Chromolyframe and fork, 68mm threaded bottom bracket, SRAM UDH rear dropout, and a construction that’s burly enough to pass ISO mountain bike standards. Unlike the Itty Bitty, the Rolly Polly uses thru-axles, a two-piece 165mm crank, and external cable routing to make maintenance a breeze. It has mounts for bottles, racks, and fenders, and it can clear up to a 20 x 2.5″ tire.
