The new Race Face ERA SL Crankset is a lighter, more XC-oriented version of the standard Era crankset introduced a few years ago. The ERA SL Crankset shaves off unnecessary weight with an integrated spindle and removes hardware. According to Race Face, it’s the lightest XC crankset you can buy, weighing just 422 grams, which is 78 grams less than the standard ERA Crankset.

The ERA SL is available in two chainlines: 52mm with DM ring and 55mm with DMW ring. The Q-factor is 170mm, the cranks are carbon with a stainless steel wear plate, and the spindle is made from 7000-series Aluminum Alloy. It uses a 30mm diameter spindle, and each crankset includes crank boots, pedal washers, and spindle spacers. Chainrings and bottom brackets are sold separately, although the 422-gram weight includes a 32T chainring with 170mm cranks. The ERA SL crankset is offered in four lengths: 160, 165, 170, and 175mm, and is available in Black, Kashmoney, and Stealth. The ERA SL cranks come with the same Lifetime Warranty as their other products, crashes included.
