The Orbea Terra is a new model from the Spanish bike manufacturer that promises bikepacking prowess through mounting points, larger tire clearance, inner-frame storage, and tweaked geometry for fully loaded adventures. Find details here…

The Orbea Terra is a new model from the Spanish bike brand that promises a slightly more race-oriented approach. And with mounting points on the fork leg, top tube, down tube, seat tube, and fender mounts, it’s an aggressive carbon gravel bike with all the modern accouterments to accommodate light bikepacking bags. New additions to their Terra line of bikes also include clearance for up to 700 x 50mm tires, tweaked geometry that is supposedly more suitable for quick, confident handling characteristics, and a longer wheelbase for greater stability when things get rough.

Orbea has also expanded the capacity of their downtube storage on the new Terra models, as this inner frame storage system—the LOCKR XXL—has 35 percent more volume than prior iterations and provides internal space for tools, snacks, or spare layers. The most affordable build, the TERRA M30TEAM 1X, costs $3,000 and features Shimano GRX, alloy wheels, and a carbon frame. The top-end model is equipped with SRAM Force AXS and costs $6,300.
