Alongside the new Handlebar-Pack Plus we announced last week, Heilsbronn, Germany-based Ortlieb just reminded us that they also dropped another fresh bikepacking bag at the same time: the Fuel-Pack, a compact 1L top tube bag that’s designed for easy one-handed access to contents by way of its magnetic closure system. It can be directly bolted into top tube mounts or attached via included rubberized straps, and its sturdy nylon construction with built-in stiffeners helps it keep its shape. The bag’s lid self-closes under its own weight, and an integrated cable outlet facilitates on-the-go charging of your devices in a dry space. Additional features include an interior mesh pocket and reflective logos for added visibility.
Produced sustainably in Germany, the Ortlieb Fuel-Pack is PVC-free, weighs 160 grams, and is priced at €60. It’ll be offered in a matte black colorway, matching the rest of the brand’s bikepacking bags. It doesn’t look as if it’s available on Ortlieb’s site just yet, but we’ll update this post with a link when we find one.
