We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve teamed up with Otso Cycles to give away a complete Otso Fenrir Stainless to one randomly selected member of our Bikepacking Collective. Learn more about the Fenrir and find out how you can get signed up for a chance to win one here…

Our latest Collective Reward is a special one. In collaboration with our friends at Otso Cycles in Minneapolis, we’re excited to be giving away a complete Otso Fenrir Stainless to one lucky member of our Bikepacking Collective. The ultra-versatile Fenrir is designed to feel equally at home with flat bars or drops, and our winner will be able to spec their complete build in either configuration. They’ll also be able to choose their stem length, handlebar width, anodized accent color, tires, and pretty much everything else at the base build level to dial in their dream build. All in, that’s a whopping $4,120 value for our winner!

Otso Fenrir Review

Summarizing the two-headed beast in his review late last year, Logan wrote that the Fenrir Stainless is an elegant offering in the genre of rigid mountain bikes and one that holds its own across a multitude of surfaces and riding styles. From a bikepacking perspective, he verified that it comes specced with everything you might need in terms of mounting points, provisions, frame bag space, and long-ride comfort.

The Fenrir is a bike that’s begging to be taken out on adventurous rides that combine singletrack with dirt roads, such as the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route or our Tian Shan Traverse. In short, we think the Fenrir is an incredibly compelling bikepacking rig. As Logan wrote, “It doesn’t hesitate on any terrain, and I wouldn’t hesitate to take it on any given bikepacking trip.”

Otso Fenrir Stainless Highlights

Two Bikes in One

The Fenrir was designed to accommodate drop bars with a 50mm stem or MTB bars with an 80mm stem.

Tuning Chip

Otso’s Tuning Chip allows riders to adjust the bike’s chainstay to ever so slightly alter the geometry, changing the wheelbase by up to 20mm, the bottom bracket height by up to 4mm, and the head tube angle by 0.2°.

Room for Big Tires

The frame and fork can clear 29″ x 2.6″ or 27.5″ x 2.8″ tires, opening up the possibility to comfortably ride over gnarly trails and sandy tracks.

Singlespeed-Ready

As with all metal Otso bikes, the Fenrir can be run singlespeed or with gears thanks to a small notch on the rear dropout near the Tuning Chip.

Mounts for Days

The frame and fork have all the mounts you could need and more, including four-pack mounts above and below the downtube, triple-pack mounts on the fork blades, and rear rack mounts.

Dropper-Friendly Design

A small port near the bottom of the seat tube allows for the cable routing of a dropper post. If you don’t ride with a dropper, you probably won’t even notice the port.

Well-Rounded Build Kit

Otso offers a carefully considered variety of parts through their online configurator, making it impossible to go wrong in your selection of parts and accessories.
