Announced today at EuroBike, Pirelli has expanded their popular Cinturato line to include widths up to 700×45 and 650bx50, and more aggressive tread patterns designed around cyclocross and gravel riding. Find all of the details here…

Pirelli, a company with strong ties in the road cycling and motorsports world, has recognized the growth in gravel cycling with their own line of gravel-specific tires. Stemming from their Cinturato Velo line, which claims to offer exceptional durability and widths up to 700×35, the new Gravel and Cross tires build this to offer more traction, larger widths, and options for both ‘hard terrain’ and ‘mixed terrain’ surfaces. The Cinturato Gravel family of tires feature a reinforced casing construction with a woven bead-to-bead fabric layer and a TLR Aramid bead optimized for wide rims. Pirelli’s SpeedGRIP compound has been fine tuned to prioritize all-weather performance, no matter the terrain, which is said to reduce rolling resistance to a “pure road racing tire” level. The entire Cinturato Gravel line of tires comes in both a full black plus a Classic version – with PARA sidewalls. As expected, all of the Cinturato Gravel tires are tubeless-ready.
