The Pivot LES SL Drop Bar is a new offering from the Arizona brand for riders seeking adventure. Built around a 29″ wheel platform with a rigid frame and 100mm of travel at the front, the LES SL appears to further blur the lines between gravel and mountain bikes. The bike features an 800-gram Hollow-Core carbon frame, full internal routing, UDH compatibility, and can fit a 29 x 2.4″ tire. It also uses a 27.2mm seatpost, boost spacing, and a Pressfit BB92 (PF92) bottom bracket.

The Pivot LES SL is 1x specific, fits a 38T chainring, and is designed for 100-120mm of fork travel. Pivot says customers can use an aftermarket rigid fork, and that they recommend axle to crown greater than 480mm. The bike uses an integrated headset, has a maximum brake rotor allowance of 180mm, and has a 44mm fork offset. While the official build weight is unclear, Pivot says the complete Team XTR comes in at 19.8 pounds.

With a longer wheelbase and a slack head angle, the LES SL looks like a very capable drop-bar bike. Equipped with bottle bosses on both the underside of the down tube and the top tube, as well as full frame mounts throughout the main triangle, it may have some fast bikepacking capability built in. While all models of the LES SL are dropper post compatible, the travel length varies between small and large frames.

With a build kit featuring DT Swiss wheels, a Fox Stepcast fork, and electronic shifting, the LES SL isn’t exactly budget-minded. Currently, the bike is only available as a complete and comes in three colors: Blue Ribbon, Silver Bullet, and Black Sunset. Across its five sizes, equipped with the Ride GX Eagle Transmission, the bike retails for $6,399 and can be purchased directly from Pivot or from a local Pivot dealer.
