Founded in East London in 2015 by Rob Quirk, Quirk Cycles specializes in fully custom bicycles and is guided by the simple belief that “performance and beauty should never be separate conversations.” Like other framebuilders, Rob has been making moves to offer small-batch production bikes, helping customers get on a Quirk without the long wait times associated with fully custom builds. The most recent addition to the Quirk Cycles lineup is their first production gravel bike, the Kegety.

According to Quirk Cycles, the Kegety is “designed for speed and confidence when the surface becomes unpredictable.” It’s made to handle gravel, long-distance adventures, and rides that link road, rough tracks, and dirt into a single route. The frame has clearance for 700 x 50mm tires and uses the same construction as their Mamtor (Road) and Durmitor (Race) framesets, like Columbus Life steel tubing combined with a signature 3D-printed headtube, seat cluster, and dropouts.

Here’s how Rob Quirk describes the Kegety: “I originally designed the Kegety for the inaugural Silk Road Mountain Race, to explore how capable a gravel bike could be on genuinely rough terrain. I learned a lot from that experience, and it shaped a bike that marries stability with responsiveness when the terrain becomes truly demanding.”

Standard specs include a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH), a T47 bottom bracket, and electronic-only 1x groupset compatibility. Quirk has paired the bike with ENVE’s Gravel In-Route fork and color-matched cockpit integration. It’s offered in six sizes, from XS to XL, and three colors: Verde Gea Luicdo, Hyperion Azzuro and Creighton Brown.

The Kegety is now available for pre-order, with framesets and complete builds expected to ship in October. The limited edition frameset batch is priced at £4,999 (~$5,721 USD / €4,963), and complete builds start at £10,550 (~$12,074 USD / €10,474). International pricing has UK VAT removed. Local import duty and taxes are not included.
