Hi, I’m Tom and I’m really stoked on my new Singular Peregrine build. I went all out on this one to make it the touring bike for life. It’ll be the bike I will ride most. I have a faster bike and also a more capable off-road bike, but this is the one that I choose to ride 9 times out of 10. It’s comfortable, can ride anything, and it’s just a pleasure to swing a leg over.
I have been riding the original Singular Peregrine for about 7 years now. It was the first drop-bar bike I owned, coming from BMX and mountain biking. Over the years, it has been built in many different ways, from flat bar single-speed to monster-tyre tourer. The design was way ahead of its time, and it seems the industry has only just kind of caught up.
The one I’m riding now is the prototype for the 2021 Peregrine. Sam at Singular has given in and finally put it back into production… and apparently it’s his favourite of all the bikes he’s designed!
