The latest funky, comfort-focused handlebar from Redshift is the all-new Top Shelf Bar, an aluminum drop bar with either 50 or 70 millimeters of rise and ample room for mounting bags and accessories. Learn more about the Redshift Top Shelf Bar here…
Announced this morning, the new Redshift Top Shelf Bar is what the brand calls the “perfect handlebar for epic rides and epic comfort.” It offers 50 or 70 millimeters of built-in rise to help provide an upright riding position and easy-to-reach drops, and it shares the same backsweep, flare, and compact drop as their best-selling Kitchen Sink Handlebars, which are optimized for control and comfort on long rides over any terrain.
The Top Shelf Bar is built from 6061 T6 aluminum and features a unique double-bar construction that facilitates easy mounting of bags and accessories such as lights and GPS units. A custom-fitted Top-Shelf Handlebar Bag will be available this summer, too. The Top Shelf has an ASTM F2043 Class 2 rating “for on and off-road riding and drops less than 15cm (6″),” meaning it can safely take you just about anywhere you’d reasonably want to go with drop bars.
There are options for 44, 47, and 50-centimeter widths, and all of them sport 7 degrees of backsweep, 25 degrees of flare, and a compact 110 millimeter drop. Reach varies from 65 to 70mm, depending on size, and the bars weigh in at 499 to 519 grams with a 50 millimeter rise. The clamp size is 31.8mm. All sizes are priced at $139.99, and bars are in stock and ready to ship now. Buyers can save a little money by bundling them with Redshift’s Top and Drop Grips and/or Really Long Bar Tape.
