Based on the same thermo-moldable design as their Seymour saddle, the new Reform Tantalus saddle plugs in, warms up, and molds to your body for a custom fit. Check out all the details here…

From the folks behind Landyachtz Bikes in British Columbia, Reform is a small brand that specializes in thermo-moldable saddles. They’ve only had one saddle in their lineup for a while now, which first released back in 2017, but we’ve been hearing rumours of a more off-road/MTB friendly version in the works. Today, it’s finally here.

The new Reform Tantalus shares all the same specs as the Seymour saddle, meaning it plugs in, heats up, and permanently molds to your body. I’ve logged well over 2,000 kilometers on my original Seymour saddle and can attest to its functionality. It’s undeniably expensive, but it does what it does well, and it could be a good option for anyone who can’t find the perfect saddle.

Although it’s packed with the same technology, the shape and construction of the Tantalus is a little different than the Seymour. It’s still 142mm wide but is shorter at 245mm, and instead of carbon rails, it has custom anodized titanium rails (no two saddles are the same!) and a carbon/nylon frame. The Reform Tantalus weighs in at around 225 grams and costs $250 USD. Preorders are open as of today, and they should be shipping out any day now.
