Tailfin caught up with Tour Divide riders Chris Burkard and Justinas Leveika before the start of the race, and as it happens, at the time of publication, both are currently sitting in the top five and riding quite competitively. Watch both Tailfin bike checks below.

Ultra-endurance racer Justinas Leveika is a member of Tailfin’s R&D Division. They caught up with Justinas, who’s been leading the race off and on since the beginning, to get a closer look at the bike setup he put together specifically for the Tour Divide. Prior to this race, we didn’t realize that adventure photographer Chris Burkard was also an ultra-endurance racer. However, he’s been in the top eight since the beginning of the race. In this bike check video, Chris breaks down his 2023 Tour Divide race rig and talks about how he set his Fezzari Solitude up for such an epic multi-week adventure.
