Teased at Sea Otter this spring, the new Ritchey Montebello is purpose-built for long all-road rides and multi-day efforts, and it features a number of thoughtful little frame details. Check it out here…
As Logan shared in his 2024 Sea Otter Coverage, the Ritchey Montebello is “not just another road bike,” according to Ritchey. It has a purposeful geometry made for a stable ride on multi-day efforts. It also has increased stack, a longer wheelbase, and a lower bottom bracket than its Road Logic sibling. The Montebello is built up around a heat-treated, triple-butted, TIG welded Ritchey Logic steel frame, a Ritchey WCS Carbon Brevet Fork, and has clearance for 700 x 36mm tires (with fenders) or 700 x 40mm without.

The WCS Carbon Brevet Fork was designed specifically for the Montebello. It has mounting options for either a porteur or low-rider rack and threaded drilling in the crown to attach a rack and lights. There’s internal dynamo routing, and it uses a 1–1/8” straight steerer for a precise yet forgiving ride experience. The frame can accommodate 1x or 2x drivetrains, has two standard bottle cage mounts inside the main triangle, and features external cable routing for easier maintenance.
