Following Rockgeist’s acquisition of Porcelain Rocket, we’ve all been eagerly waiting to see what bags would be released first, and today is the day! The new Rockgeist Nigel handlebar bag and Meanwhile basket bag are now available. Find all the details on how to get yours here…

Just over a month ago, we announced that Rockgeist acquired Porcelain Rocket and that there was a plan keep their line of bikepacking bags alive, which you can read about here. Sticking to their word, Rockgeist is rolling out the Nigel and Meanwhile first, and both are available as of today. From the looks of it, the designs have stayed true to Porcelain Rocket’s original vision: both bags are easy to use, don’t include any unnecessary features, and are 100% waterproof. Check out a detailed breakdown of the Rockgeist Nigel Handlebar Bag and Meanwhile Basket Bag below.

Rockgeist Nigel Handlebar Bag

Nigel is their standalone waterproof handlebar bag that’s equally suited to hauling snacks on day rides or use as a traditional touring handlebar bag for keeping smaller items, such as jackets, gloves, cameras, and shades at the ready. Voilé Nano Straps and a semi-rigid backplate make for quick removal and quiet stability. The included foam spacers can be used for extra hand clearance on the tops of drop bars, or offset for cables and hoses.

A simple, waterproof roll-top closure allows Meanwhile to expand as needed.
