German brand Rose Bikes’ questionably named gravel bike now comes with a Shimano Cues build kit and a questionable color scheme to match. Find details on their latest integrated-rack, flat-bar bike here…

Rose Bikes in Germany recently unveiled their latest steel Hobo model, which has been updated with a Shimano Cues build kit and a tri-color pastel paint scheme that’s sure to be polarizing. Featuring an integrated front rack rated to hold 5 kilograms (11 pounds), clearance for 2.1″ tires, and a carbon fork with three-pack mounts, it remains a versatile and capable bike for light hauling, though it still lacks rear rack and fender mounts. With its large main triangle, relatively short reach, and upright position, it looks ideally suited as a comfy commuter or light bikepacker.

The new Rose Hobo Cues has hydraulic disc brakes, 14 mounting points for bags and cages throughout, and uses a UDH rear derailleur mount. It comes specced with a 1×10 mechanical Cues drivetrain actuated by a thumb shifter, aluminum 650B wheels with 47mm WTB Venture tires, a low-rise bar from Ergotec, and a WTB Silverado saddle. Priced at €1,300 ($1,500) complete, the Hobo Cues is available in four sizes, from small to extra-large. A medium complete weighs around 12.9 kilograms (28.4 pounds).
