One of our favorite bikes just got… smaller. Salsa Cycles just unveiled the Journeyman 24, bringing drop-bar adventure goodnesss to smaller or younger riders. Find the details here…
Last year we found Salsa’s Journeyman to be one of our favorite bikes. Not only is it a very capable machine, but it’s a fantastic entry-level bike that’s highly affordable. Today, Salsa pushed this concept even further to create an entry-level model for smaller and younger riders. The Journeyman 24 is designed to boost confidence and add a host of features for young riders interested in getting into gravel and mixed-surface riding.
The Journeyman 24 features Three-Pack mounts on each fork leg and fits one 24oz water bottle in main triangle. It also has a two-bolt accessory mount on the underside of the down tube and mounts for a rear rack. Other specs include:
- 455mm top tube fits smaller riders
- Lightweight aluminum frame and fork
- Stable handling for tackling uneven surfaces and rough descents
- 24×1.85″ tires for mixed-terrain riding
- 1×9 drivetrain with clutch derailleur and wide-range cassette for rugged rides
The Salsa Journeyman 24 will be available in red or teal for $899 in November 2020 in the United States and Canada through Authorized Salsa Retailers. Find more info over at SalsaCycles.com.
