One of Schwalbe’s most popular gravel tires, the G-One RS PRO, is now available in a fresh 29 x 2.35″ width. Launched last week, this fast-rolling mixed-terrain tire has been a standout for those seeking both grip and speed. Find details below…

The Schwalbe G-One RS PRO has long been one of the German brand’s most versatile tires. With a fast-rolling profile, the G-One RS PRO aims to be a solid option for gravel racers and those looking to ride a variety of surfaces in a single ride. As gravel tires have grown wider, the G-One RS PRO has followed suit. Now available in a 29 x 2.35″ width, this fast-rolling tire has officially hit mountain bike sizes.

The RS PRO differentiates itself from the RX and R models through the spacing and size of its knobs. While the R and RX models use a filled-in knob profile throughout their tread, the RS PRO model has a smooth, file-tread design in the middle, with pronounced knobs on the edges of the tire. This pattern is said to be best for speed, with the new wider size combining with the pronounced size knobs for grip. As of writing, the tire is only available in the brand’s RaceGuard compound, which is “ideal puncture protection when a tire must be fast and light above all.” The Schwalbe G-One RS PRO has a claimed weight of 750 grams, is available only in black, and retails for $91.
