French designer Alexandre Licata is back with the second edition of the Scopa Bikepacking card game, and it’s now available to back via a crowdfunding campaign. Find out how to get involved here…

Four years ago, Alexandre Licata, a French designer, cyclist, and avid reader of this site, launched a bikepacking version of the card game Scopa. Scopa is an illustrative Mediterranean game in which players try to match the cards in their hands with those on the table, and the player who captures the most cards earns more points. His pre-order was successful, and he’s now back with version two and seeking help to make it a reality.

The game features hand-illustrated playing cards packed full of quirky and clever bikepacking hints and themes. Scopa Bikepacking V2 is Alexandre’s attempt at higher-quality production and wider distribution, with the hope that it will be tucked into a pannier, enjoyed around a fire, or played together with friends at home.
