Search and State just announced the Blanket Shirt, a beefier button-up with similar materials and style to one of our all-time favorite fall riding shirts, the Field Shirt. Learn more about it here…
I know a lot of people scoff at cotton garments for outdoor pursuits, but I pretty much live in the Search and State Field Shirt when temps are semi-mild and dry. To me, it’s a perfect layer to buffer the chill, and it breathes well and never stinks—the beauty of high-quality cotton for cycling. At any rate, I was excited to see the Search and State Blanket Shirt come across my inbox this morning, which looks like a more insulated button-up made from a similar material in a kindred style.
The Blanket Shirt is designed with durability in mind, constructed from a heavier-duty Japanese cotton yarn that SAS says provides both substantial heft and exceptional softness: “The key to achieving this balance lies in sourcing high-quality materials, which were selected from a premium yarn supplier in Japan.” The Blanket Shirt is built to last a lifetime and features ergonomic paneling, chambray contrast trims, and custom-made fish-eye buttons. And like the Field Shirt, each one is made in New York City.

The Blanket Shirt comes in four sizes and two colors for $175. Learn more over at SearchAndState.com.
