SimWorks’ latest collaboration with MKS is a generously sized platform pedal with replaceable pins, serviceable cup-and-cone bearings, and an unmistakable shape. Get to know the new SimWorks Taco Pedals here, which are now available for pre-order in black and silver…

Following up on the Burrito Rack and Extra Rice & Beans Bag they released last week (find those linked at the bottom of this post), SimWorks is back with another appetizing new component, the Taco Pedals. They feature an extra-large 110 x 105mm platform, 10 replaceable studs per side, good ol’ cup-and-cone bearings, and some intricate milling details.

The SimWorks Taco Pedals were made by MKS in Japan and weigh in at 498 grams (about a pound) per pair. They’re available in silver and black in this first run, and SimWorks is launching them via a pre-order that just opened. Pedals are priced at $98 and are expected to ship at the end of the month.

Additionally, SimWorks is running a social campaign with the hashtag #SWTacoTuesday over the next few weeks while they get these pedals out into the world. Folks on Instagram can tag them and use the hashtag, and they’ll select their favorite submissions to receive discount codes and potentially some free Taco Pedals. They’re seeking your photos featuring bikes with SimWorks products and rides to your favorite local taco shops.

You can pre-order a set of SimWorks Taco Pedals over at Sim.Works.
