Born from a collaboration between Slowrider, The Cub House, and Doom Bars, the new SECO bars are handmade in New Mexico, have a generous back sweep, and are 785mm wide. Check them out here…

The SECO Bar is a wide cruisy handlebar that maker Doom Bars claims fits into the “Ultra Mega Comfort Zone” and just outside of the “Nothing Even Matters Anymore Zone.” If you’re not familiar with these sweep zones, make sure to check out Doom Bars’ ultra-scientific sweep zone illustration here. The SECO Bar is a collaboration between California-based bike shop The Cub House, Slowrider Magazine, and Doom Bars in New Mexico.

The SECO bars have a generous 55-degree backsweep, 2-degree upsweep, 55mm rise, and start at 785mm wide with a 210mm grip area. They can also be trimmed down if you’re looking for a narrower fit. The SECO is finished with a snazzy gold powder coat and a banded raw steel graphic featuring the Slowrider Worldwide logo, a bike culture brand started by folks at the shop.

The bar is available exclusively at The Cub House in San Marino, California, and according to folks at the shop, it’s “guaranteed to increase any bike’s wow factor no less than 69%.” The bars retail for $195 and weigh in at 632 grams. They are available in limited quantities, so if you’re interested, you should reach out to The Cub House right away or shoot them an email at info@cubhouse.cc.
