Specialized Launches New HyprViz Collection

At the core of Specialized’s 24-Hour Visibility line is their newly released HyprViz collection, providing what they describe as “the only visibility collection you’ll actually want to be seen in.” The new collection, which includes socks, jerseys, gloves, and more, is based around strategically placed reflective bits and an exclusive Hyper Green color way—designed to reflect the wavelength of light that’s most sensitive to the human eye, offering what Specialized claims is the highest level of visibility out there.

Although the new collection is largely geared toward to road riders, safety is universal and should be a priority to all of us, no matter how loose-fitting you like your wool jersey. One of the more interesting pieces in the collection is the 49 gram vest, which probably packs down to the size of a Clifbar and could be broken out as needed, and when pedaling trafficked roads is necessary.
